PROBLEM STATEMENT

PROBLEM STATEMENT

Airports are complex environments where passengers often struggle with navigation, real-time updates, and managing multiple travel documents across different platforms. At the same time, airports face challenges in providing a unified system that improves user flow, enhances passenger satisfaction, and supports retailers. Existing solutions are fragmented, causing confusion, delays, and limited access to essential information or last-minute purchases.

Young adults and students struggle to save money consistently due to emotional spending, rising living costs, and a lack of financial control. Although they have clear financial goals, saving often feels overwhelming and inconsistent, as most income is absorbed by everyday expenses. This turns saving into a stressful task rather than a supportive habit.

  1. Time-driven decisions: With a 4-week timeline, the focus was on core flows. More time would allow for deeper UI refinement and visual consistency.

  2. Limited screen depth: Some secondary screens and edge cases were simplified. Future iterations would expand these flows for a more complete experience.

  3. Section clarity: Certain areas could be better differentiated to improve orientation and hierarchy within the app.

  4. Testing assumptions: Some design decisions were based on research and assumptions rather than real travelers. Usability testing would help validate and refine the experience.
